Welcome to SeismoSight, monitoring and analyzing of global seismicity.
The goal.
The main goal is to provide near realtime picture of what happens to global and local seismicity.
Types of monitored seismicity.
Amount of earthquakes and released energy for the globe and specific points of interest (such as volcanoes, supervolcanoes, seismic active zones and areas where M 7.0+ happened). Divergences of historical mean are provided.
Earthquakes swarms - places where heightened amount of earthquakes happen in short period of time.
Historical correlation between seismicity and Moon phases.
Single events with M 5.0+
Depth/strength charts for monitored places.
Reports update frequency.
At least once a day, when daily summary report is released, but in reality an update happens 4-6 times a day.
Data update happens every hour.
